FinChoice You might have noticed that the loan
process is now different. We know this can
be frustrating, but in order to protect you, all
credit providers are now required to collect
proof of income documents for all credit
applications. We want to thank the thousands
of customers who have already sent us their
payslips and bank statements.

Please remember, if you bank with Absa,
Nedbank or Standard Bank, we can get your
bank statement for you at no cost to you, easy and secure. Alternatively, you can
upload your proof of income via WhatsApp on 063 482 7799 or to finchoice.mobi/docs,
email us at docs@finchoice.com or fax to 021 680 8257.

We really want to make this as easy for you as possible. If you can think of any other
way, please let us know by emailing us at competitions@finchoice.com.

FinChoice
FinChoice Let us know how you’re finding the process of sending us your documents. We know it’s something new and we are curious to know how you feel about it all and if you have any comments on how we can make it easier for you.   We know some of the words we use can seem a bit complicated. So we've chosen
a few below and here we describe what they mean in plain, simple English.

  FinChoice Debt review
Debt review is when you are struggling to pay off your debt and a debt counsellor
helps you by negotiating with your creditors (the companies you owe money
to) to reduce your repayments and pay it off over a longer time.

FinChoice
  FinChoice Administration
Administration is a legal process to help you when you can't pay all your debt
repayments and get a debt administrator, usually a lawyer, to arrange paying
off your debt in smaller amounts over a longer time. It takes longer to pay off
your debt through administration than through debt review.

FinChoice
  FinChoice Insolvent
You are considered insolvent if your debt is more than your income.

FinChoice
  FinChoice Sequestration
Sequestration is the process by which an insolvent person (someone whose debts
are more then their income) applies to the High Court of South Africa to write off
80% of their debt as a final resort because they cannot pay their debt.
