Secure options for your virtual meetings

Meeting virtually is the new norm. Unfortunately, as referenced in the news, the global COVID-19 pandemic is causing a spike in cyber-attacks.

Protecting your security and privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We’ve taken measures to ensure your security and privacy in our use of the Zoom platform:

• Most importantly, we’re using an Enterprise version of Zoom which runs over an encrypted internet connection and lets the host:

• Lock the meeting to not allow anyone else to join,
• limit what participants can do and
• remove anyone that shouldn’t be part of the meeting

• We use a Zoom feature which requires the host to validate and admit all participants into the Zoom session, so they can ensure that only the right participants are in the meeting.

 

We're also adding WebEx as an alternative option for firms who can't connect via Zoom. Reach out to your Sun Life relationship manager for more details.
